Pauly AKA BadPauly AKA Pauly7, is a part-time print & web designer, part-time geek, part-time DJ, occasional writer and full-time human.

He has been involved in print and web-design since the late-80s, starting off in screenprinting, branching out into web-design and graphic-design, before realising he would rather have a finger in all of the pies than just the one. He has worked on a number of print and web publications, as a journalist, designer, and system administrator, as well as supplying I.T. knowledge.

Pauly dipped his toes into the world of DJing when he put together background mixes for performances. Since then he has jumped headfirst into the world of DJing, performing as a resident DJ at Berserk and Shallow Nation nightclubs in Sydney, traveled to Perth (Sin Nightclub) and Canberra (Chrome) as well as playing in a number of other clubs in Sydney, including running a Punk night at the Town Hall Hotel once a month (now put out of its misery).

With musical interests running the gamut from electronica, ambient and dance, to hard-industrial, aggrotech and punk, he understands that variety isn’t just the spice of life, but it is a much-needed part of it. Forcing yourself into a specific area forces stagnation, narrows the mind, and kills off any chance of growth.
